Introduction to Judaism Course

CLASS RESCHEDULING
“Shabbat I” on Monday, February 1st
“Birth” on Monday, February 8th
“Shabbat II” on Thursday, February 11th  (not on the 4th!)
All at 7:00 p.m. in the Library. 
Thereafter, the normal course schedule will resume.

This course introduces the fundamentals of Jewish thought and practice in 17 sessions for anyone interested in exploring Judaism. Topics include Jewish holidays and life cycle events, theology and prayer, Israel, history and Hebrew. Classes are on Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Orientation is January 11, 2010 and the course runs from January through June 2010. Registration forms are available in the Temple office.

Students are responsible for their books for the class. Some of the books are available for purchase from the Temple office on a first-come basis.
